2019 Public Meeting & AGM

Sunday 24th March from 1pm at the Undercroft 101 on University of Canterbury campus in Ilam.

  • What’s going on with media in New Zealand?

  • Is Facebook out of control?

  • Can social media be a public service?

The role of social media is in the spotlight after the terrible events last Friday.

To raise these issues so everyone can take part in the discussion, the Better Public Media Trust has changed the focus of our AGM, to include a public meeting on these important subjects.

How to get to Undercroft 101

Undercroft 101 is in the central library building at the University of Canterbury, which is the large building more or less in the middle of the Ilam Campus. Enter up the large sweeping steps in front of Matariki and follow the signs.

Parking is nearby at the Law Car Park and mobility parking is right next door just behind the bookshop.

Hopefully this hand-drawn map helps! Any queries please call Myles on 021 666297. See you there.
