The People's Commission on Public Broadcasting and Media

ActionStation and the Better Public Media Trust have joined forces with a diverse group of six industry experts to run a crowdfunded public inquiry into the current state, and future prospects, of public interest broadcasting and media in Aotearoa New Zealand.

The panelists traveled to Wellington, Nelson, Dunedin, Christchurch, Tauranga and Auckland holding collaborative workshops with the public and other media experts. Based on the submissions collected at these workshops, and online - the panel will create a people-powered report with policy recommendations to deliver to the Government.
